With a fresh gaze, the ADAM Quartet is constantly looking for ways to shed its own light on the string quartet while staying true to the essence of the genre. Since graduating from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the quartet has been part of the Dutch String Quartet Academy (NSKA) starting in 2020. At the NSKA they are supervised by artistic director Marc Danel and have received masterclasses from Marc Danel, Pavel Fischer, Dmitri Ferschtman and Luc-Marie Aguera, among others. The young ensemble has already performed at the Amsterdam String Quartet Biennale, the Grachtenfestival, the Storioni Festival and in major venues such as the National Opera, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, TivoliVredenburg and the MIRY concert hall in Ghent. The ADAM Quartet has been a guest at television and radio broadcasts such as Podium Witteman, AVROTROS Spiegelzaal and the Muziekfabriek. In 2020 they received the string quartet stipend from the Kersjes Fonds.
