The String Quartet Biennale is a forum for dreams to become reality, and for the wildest and usually unrealisable ideas to take shape and wing. For us, as quartets, it is a unique meeting place for quartets amongst themselves - something which rarely happens in the wild.

Xandi Van Dijk,
Signum Quartett

Having already had the opportunity to support and thoroughly enjoy attending the amazing 2018 and 2020 festival editions, I am honoured to be one of the enthusiastic and generous SQBA Founders. It is a privilege to continue to support and participate in this unique and multifaceted jewel of a chamber music initiative. Thank you / hartelijk bedankt SQBA - you have my ongoing admiration and committed support.

Monica Armour-Rosenzweig,
Founder

Angel

Make exceptional projects possible

As an Angel, you support the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam in a highly personal and meaningful way. Through a substantial, tailored contribution, you enable the realisation of unique artistic projects – from special composition commissions to innovative programmes and new initiatives within the festival.

You become closely connected to projects with lasting impact, contributing directly to the artistic development and renewal of the string quartet. If you wish, we are pleased to associate your name with the project you support and to involve you personally in the work you make possible.

Our Angels form a small and committed group of supporters who engage with the festival on a deeper level. We would be delighted to discuss your interests and the possibilities for your support in person.
