The Bosmans Quartet was founded in 2023 by four young musicians who met at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Netherlands Youth String Orchestra. United by their love of chamber music, they strive for freedom, expression and a distinctive musical voice. The quartet has received lessons and masterclasses from members of the Dudok Quartet, Attacca Quartet, Busch Trio and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, among others. Their name pays tribute to the Dutch composer and pianist Henriëtte Bosmans, whose string quartet is an important source of inspiration for the ensemble.
